Overview

Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and education utilizing evidence-based guidelines. Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of interventions. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving Enteral Nutrition. Assesses and diagnoses patients for malnutrition.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited college or university.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Alabama State Licensure. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must be obtained within 6 months of employment).

Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred but not required.

Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills. Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
