Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition care to patients. Responsibilities include assessing nutritional needs, developing care plans, and managing enteral nutrition. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Nutrition and excellent communication skills, with opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.
Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and education utilizing evidence-based guidelines. Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of intervention. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving Enteral Nutrition. Assesses and diagnoses patients for malnutrition.
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
Alabama State Licensure. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
1-2 years clinical experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills. Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
