The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for delivering quality comprehensive nutritional assessments and follow-ups for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or complex behavioral challenges. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining an assigned caseload. The Dietitian actively communicates and collaborates with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Dietitian participates in departmental quality improvement initiatives. Miscellaneous duties may also be assigned as part of the role, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach.
The working hours for the Clinical Dietitian are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Salary Range: $52,848.00 – $79,272.00

Master's degree in foods and nutrition or a related area from an appropriately accredited institution that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and current registration, in good standing, administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); -or- Bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, dietetics, or related area from an appropriately accredited institution that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and current registration, in good standing, administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and two years of experience in a clinical dietary setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
