St. Tammany Health System is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition care for cancer patients at the Cancer Center in Covington, LA. The role supports patients and their families and participates in community health activities.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Dietetics or Nutrition, RD credential (or eligibility within 6 months), and LA licensure (LDN). Typical workweek is 40 hours, Monday through Friday.

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, or Food and Nutrition.
• RD credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, or eligible within 6 months of hire.
• State License (LDN) by Louisiana Board of Examiners in Dietetics and Nutrition, or provisional LDN.

It is a peaceful, scenic, community-oriented area with an abundance of amenities to suit every taste.**JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS**Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40**Work Shift:** Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm**JOB SUMMARY:**Delivery of comprehensive nutritional services to St. Tammany Cancer Center medical oncology and radiation oncology patients and their significant others. Participates in patient centered and community programs and Health Fairs.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, or Food and Nutrition.* Registered Dietitian {RD} credentialed by Commission on Dietetic Registration, or Registration eligible within 6 months of hire.* State License {LDN} by Louisiana Board of Examiners in Dietetics and Nutrition, or provisional LDN. One year experience preferred.* Excellent time management, communication and organization skills; computer technology skills; excellent interpersonal skills.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
