Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for outpatient coverage of the BPD Clinic. This three days per week role includes weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy across the continuum of care and promote preventive health through nutrition education for patients and families.

The position involves coordinating school and community programs, building partnerships, and applying the Nutrition Care Process to deliver person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, required.
• Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Ohio, required.
• AND registration and licensure to practice as a dietitian from the Ohio Board of Dietetics; OR licensed permit with completion and passing of the RD exam within 3 months of employment.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) also known as chronic lung disease, causes long-term breathing problems for premature babies, often resulting in poor growth and development. We save babies from around the world with the most severe cases of BPD. We have cutting-edge research, innovative treatment approach and one-of-a-kind facility. Our inpatient and outpatient programs work together to help babies reach developmental markers, with the majority of patients catching up to age-appropriate milestones by the age of 3.

Clinical Dietitian outpatient position covering BPD Clinic. 3 days per week position, includes a weekend and holiday on-call rotation.
