Job summary

Center For Discovery in Fairfield, CT is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a compassionate treatment team. You will empower patients to rebuild their relationship with food and support medical and psychological recovery in a safety‑focused, evidence‑based environment.

Under supervision of a licensed RD, you will contribute to clinical excellence, lead nutrition education, meal support, and collaboration with physicians and psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• ACEND-accredited degree program completed.
• Completion of Dietetic Internship required or preferred.
• CDR license and state licensure where applicable.
• One year of dietary services experience preferred.
• Must obtain CPI, CPR, AED, First Aid and ServSafe within deadlines.
• Driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess weight, vitals, labs, and dietary needs to form treatment plans.
• Set weekly goals and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead dietary groups promoting insight, skills, and behavior change.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and milieu interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists for nutritional care.
• Support food service operations, budgeting, and safety standards.
• Supervise Diet Technicians where applicable.
