Froedtert Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy within the General Internal Medicine outpatient clinic. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and documenting nutrition plans for patients with diverse conditions in a hybrid work setting.

The position is 0.6 FTE (24 hours) with Shift 1, offering potential for promotion within the department, project-based development bonuses, and flexible start/end times to support work-life

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from an ACEND accredited program.
• Completion of an ACEND approved internship or coordinated program is required.
• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required or eligible).

This individual demonstrates competency and adheres to clinic specific protocols and workflows to deliver care. The dietitian participates in compliance and quality improvement efforts to improve nutrition care provided throughout the organization.

For this position, the RD will support the General Internal Medicine outpatient clinic at Froedtert Hospital, providing MNT to patients with variety of medical conditions.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of two years of experience with direct patient care is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition program is required. Completion of an ACEND approved internship or coordinated undergraduate program is required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required or must be registration eligible. Current RDN must also be a State of Wisconsin Certified Dietitian or show proof of application for certification within 60 days of hire or transfer. If registration eligible, must become pass the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) national registration exam to achieve RDN status within six months of the date of hire or transfer and show proof of application for State of Wisconsin certification within 60 days of obtaining registration.
