Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Clinical Dietitian/Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for a full-time acute care hospital role. You will deliver MNT and apply the Nutrition Care Process in a hospital setting with mentorship and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist.

Open to both experienced dietitians and new grads, with structured onboarding, nutrition support experience (TPN, tube feeding) and a sign-on bonus/relocation assistance if

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• For registration eligible status, pass the RD credentialing exam within 6 months of hire.
• For registration-eligible graduates after 2024, a master's degree is required.
• ACEND accredited program completion is required/verified.
• State licensure or certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Utilize nutrition tools to develop personalized care plans.
• Mentor interns and new graduate dietitians and clinical staff.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices with interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage nutrition care across discharge planning and DME orders.
• Write and manage nutrition-related orders within scope of practice.
