Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks a Registered Dietitian to join the Food & Nutrition-Patient Svcs team. You will conduct daily rounds, assess nutritional status, and implement care plans recorded in the patient’s medical chart.

Required: bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field; a master’s may be required for Dietetic registration after January 2024; active Florida licensure within 6 months of employment; RD status within 6 months of hire.

• Registered Dietitian status within six months of employment.

• Require a bachelor's degree with major in Dietetics or related field. A master's degree will be required for candidates completing Dietetic registration after January 2024.
• Require active State of Florida Dietitian licensure within six (6) months of employment, or within seven (7) months of obtaining Registered Dietitian status.
• Require Registered Dietitian status through Commission on Dietetic Registration within six (6) months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year experience in dietetics.
• Prefer active member of professional dietetic associations at a local and/or national level.
