Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to deliver personalized nutrition care for Continuing Care residents. You’ll develop care plans, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to improve health and quality of life.

This 32-hour-per-week role offers comprehensive benefits, including health, retirement, and education opportunities, with compensation ranging from $42.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian and Registered Dietitian per CDR.
• Experience in health care food service management preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical and administrative dietetics.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nutritional care plans for residents.
• Monitor and document nutritional status of residents.
• Evaluate needs and discharge summaries for Home Health and Hospice residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for counselling and education.
• Educate on dietary plans and food choices for individual needs.
• Oversee food production, sanitation, and menu compliance.

How you will make an impact

• Develop and implement nutritional care plans based on assessments, integrating them into overall care plans
• Monitor and document the nutritional status of Continuing Care residents and report findings
• Evaluate, document, and report on nutritional needs and discharge summaries for Home Health and Hospice residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide nutritional counseling and education
• Educate on dietary plans, food selection, and adapt recommendations to individual needs
• Oversee food production systems, sanitation, and menu compliance with regulatory standards
• Contribute to the supervision, training, and evaluation of dining services staff
• Conduct Quality Assurance audits and maintain confidentiality and safety of records
• Ensure all services and programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain professional knowledge, registration, and licensure, while fostering effective relationships with team members and residents

What you will need

• Licensed Dietitian and Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Experience in health care food service management and clinical nutrition preferred
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize clinical and administrative dietetics including issues in persons with terminal illness
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written, initiative to recognize a problem and develop a plan of correction
• Flexible schedule; available for evenings, weekend, and holiday shifts
