Responsibilities

• Perform nutritional assessments including nutrition-focused physical exams.
• Develop and implement nutrition care plans with order writing privileges.
• Monitor patient response, document progress, and educate patients and staff.
• Adapt nutrition care to patients across the lifespan from infancy to older age.
• Contribute to patient food service evaluation to meet MNT guidelines.
• Help develop, maintain, and evaluate nutrition programs, policies and procedures.
