Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for Lehigh Valley Health Network - Pocono located in East Stroudsburg, PA. This position provides outpatient diabetes and weight management education (16 hours/week) and coverage for various inpatient floors (24 hours/week). Dietitians at LVHN have opportunities for process improvement, research, and practice at their full scope with order writing privileges. This position is suitable for both new graduates and experienced dietitians!

What You'll Do

• Conduct outpatient visits at Diabetes and Endocrinology and Weight Management Clinics
• Provide nutritional care for inpatient units
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Precept dietetic interns

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education:

Master's degree with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND standards.

For those eligible for the registration exam before 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND standards.

Credentials:

Eligible for RD/RDN credentialing by CDR, to become registered within 120 days of hire. In some locations, credentials are required at hire. State certification/licensure as required.

Minimum Experience:

3 years of practice with minimal supervision.
