The Woodlands Hospital is a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries), surgery, pathology, pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Radiation Treatment Center and Texas Children’s Hospital.
As our Clinical Dietitian I, you will assess the nutritional status of our patients using recognized assessment tools. You will take great pride in recommending and counseling patients, families, and caregivers on the appropriate nutrition plan to improve the patient's health and well-being.
Every day, you will work with the general patient population and patients in more complex levels of care under the supervision of a Clinical Dietitian II or Clinical Dietitian Lead to perform nutritional assessments using age and gender-appropriate standards and cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. You will conduct routine screenings to identify patients at nutritional risk and collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to facilitate care for those needing a higher level of care, all while demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, families, and caregivers.
