Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and the Kitchen Supervisor to ensure proper handling, preparation, and storage of food.
• Collaborate with dietician consultant on menu design, recipe creation, and resident-specific meals.
• Prepare production and service documents as required.
• Complete MDS assessments and resident documentation as needed.
• Review and plan menus.
• Assist with employee scheduling, training, and duty assignment.
• Ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations.
• Maintain sanitation and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description: We are looking for a experienced Dietician to join our compassionate, care-giving team. The Dietician is responsible for ensuring quality nutritional services are provided to residents and overseeing the overall operation of the department.

Dietician Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods, and nutrition; food service systems management; or a related area required.
• RD.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.

Salary commensurate with experience.
