Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care to pediatric patients in a Webster, TX setting. You will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and monitor progress throughout care.

The ideal candidate has an RD/RDN credential, Texas licensure, a Bachelor's degree, and strong skills in pediatric nutrition, MNT, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
• Texas Licensed Dietitian (LD) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Knowledge of nutrition, Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), and pediatric nutrition.
• Ability to assess nutritional deficiencies and develop appropriate interventions.
• Strong patient and family education skills.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and nutrition-related computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient nutritional care plans.
• Perform age-appropriate nutrition assessments for patients identified as being at nutritional risk.
• Provide diabetes management and nutrition education according to established guidelines and timeframes.
• Adapt nutrition plans based on each patient’s economic, social, cultural, and age-appropriate needs.
• Reassess patients at appropriate intervals and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate nutrition education to patients and families.
• Assess learning needs and readiness to learn for patients and families.
• Participate in the development and review of patient education materials and department resources.
