Responsibilities

• Handles patient meal service orders and enters them into Dietetics Software.
• Provides professional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Collaborates with Dietitians on Food/Drug Interactions and meal delivery issues.
• Interprets and processes diet orders to ensure accuracy.
• Prints and reviews meal tickets for accuracy.
• Triages calls from inpatient units regarding trays and nourishment.
• Retrieves records to assist with tray assembly and nutrition labeling.
• Provides basic education on therapeutic diets to patients.
