Clinical Development Lead, Neuroscience (Senior Director)

Position Summary

The Clinical Development Lead (CDL) is a matrix leader within the Clinical Development organization, responsible for the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials in the neuroscience area. The CDL serves as the clinical point of accountability for the development team and manages the overall clinical development plan for assets in specific indications or tumor types.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop clinical teams, including Clinical Trial Physicians (CTPs), ensuring high performance and talent retention.
• Design and oversee clinical trials to meet regulatory, quality, and medical goals, aligning with target indications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Ensure compliance with GCP and other regulatory standards.
• Represent Clinical Development in internal and external forums, including regulatory interactions.
• Provide clinical expertise for regulatory submissions and safety reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• MD or equivalent with a deep understanding of neuroscience or relevant therapy area.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant clinical development experience, including leadership roles in clinical trials.

Additional Requirements

• Proven ability to synthesize data into strategic clinical plans.
• Experience in people management and matrix leadership.
• Excellent communication and external relationship-building skills.

Travel

Domestic and international travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary ranges from $313,200 to $409,900, plus incentives and stock options, with benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
