Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a New Market Clinical Development Director to lead the identification, development, and securing of nursing and allied healthcare clinical partnerships, enabling expansion into new markets. The role focuses on building affili­ation agreements, capacity assessment, and regulatory alignment to support student clinical placements across prospective markets.

A fair amount of travel is required; evening or weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, higher education clinical management, or large-scale workforce solutions.
• Willingness to travel and travel flexibility as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, development, and securing of clinical partnerships to support market expansion.
• Build and validate clinical access through affiliation agreements and capacity assessment.
• Coordinate with clinical partners and regulatory stakeholders to ensure viable student placements.
• Develop go/no-go market decisions using data-driven feasibility insights.
• Travel regularly to assigned markets to engage partners in person.
• Oversee handoff of partnerships to internal operations post-launch.
