Job summary

Community College of Denver seeks an Adjunct Instructor - Clinical Dentist to join the CCD Health and Natural Sciences Pathway at the Lowry Campus in Denver.

You will evaluate medical/dental histories, authorize treatments, supervise the dental hygiene clinic, and oversee anesthesia administration while guiding students in radiography and clinical dentistry. Strong communication with faculty and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Current License to practice Dentistry in Colorado.
• DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/Science.
• CTE credential or ability to obtain.
• Current CO DDS license.
• Current NPI number.
• Current Liability Insurance.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate intricate medical and dental histories and authorize treatments.
• Supervise the dental hygiene clinic and oversee anesthesia administration.
• Evaluate radiographs and student interpretations.
• Provide consultations and referrals as needed.
• Communicate with department staff, students and faculty regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
