Job summary

LCCC seeks a Dental Hygiene Clinical Instructor (adjunct) to supervise and teach dental hygiene students during on-campus clinical rotations. The instructor will evaluate clinical skills, model professional behavior, and participate in program activities.

Hours vary and compensation is $33.39/hour with duties aligned to ADA CODA standards. Responsibilities include supervising treatment plans, administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide while coordinating with the Program Director and clinic

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Associates of science degree or higher in Dental Hygiene.
• Current Wyoming dental hygiene license or eligibility to obtain Wyoming License.
• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and evaluates dental hygiene clinical procedures.
• Supervises student care/treatment plans and clinical rotator duties.
• Adheres to ADA CODA standards and program objectives.
• Provides feedback to students and maintains professional conduct.
• Assists in patient care during teaching moments as needed.
