Qualifications

• Graduated from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Vermont Dental Hygiene licensure with local anesthesia endorsement at time of employment.
• Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene (Masters preferred).
• Current member of the American Dental Hygienists Association.
• Three years of clinical practice experience.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise practical application of theory in assigned clinical settings for the Dental Hygiene Program.
• Demonstrate dental hygiene care and procedures to students.
• Determine daily student assignments in the clinical setting with review by the Clinical Coordinator.
• Conduct pre- and post-treatment conferences with students.
• Complete student evaluations.
• Attend scheduled department faculty and in-service meetings.
