Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a skilled database programmer to design, develop and maintain high-quality clinical databases for Pfizer portfolio projects. You will work on-site averages 2.5 days per week and collaborate with cross-functional study teams to ensure data integrity and compliant data submissions.

The role requires a life sciences or computer science degree and hands-on experience with Oracle/PL-SQL, SAS, Java, and relational database design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in pharma/biotech/CRO with data collection focus.
• Experience with Oracle/PL/SQL, SAS, Java and relational DB design.
• Database programming skills and strong written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clinical databases supporting Pfizer portfolio.
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to data standards for submissions.
