AbbVie Data Science is a best-in-class team responsible for bringing people, process, and technology together to generate business value from clinical trials data. This role supports program- and study-level accountabilities within Data and Statistical Sciences.

Under direct supervision, you will assist with study startup, conduct, and close-out, perform data analyses for operational decisions, and help develop design specifications while ensuring adherence to GCP, ICH guidelines, and AbbVie

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, computer science, life sciences or equivalent.
Demonstrated performance as a key contributor to initiatives and advancement of their organization (academic, internships, or in a previous job).
Demonstrated effective communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated leadership traits.

Responsibilities

Develops a deep understanding of clinical trial concepts and the ability to interpret cross-functional protocol requirements.
Engages with DSS and cross-functional study teams to execute assigned activities.
Establishes proficiency with available technology to execute activities.
Under direct supervision, supports study startup, conduct and close-out processes.
Performs data analyses in support of operational decision making.
Supports development of clinical trial application design specifications.
May rotate through multiple DS roles to build proficiency and understanding.
