Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Manager, Clinical Data Science to lead, mentor and manage Clinical Data Scientists across multiple projects, ensuring quality and adherence to contract terms. The role involves close collaboration with clients, overseeing project launches, conduct, and closeout, and ensuring documentation and TMF readiness for inspections.

The position emphasizes leadership, risk assessment, data quality oversight, and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in biological sciences, computer sciences, mathematics, or data sciences; MS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drug development process and its impact on data quality, including risk-based approaches, biometrics, and workflows.
• Experience in clinical data science practices and relational database management software systems.

Responsibilities

• Line manage, develop, and be accountable for Clinical Data Scientists in the assigned team.
• Manage client relationships and meet operational targets (quality, performance, utilization, retention, training).
• Ensure projects are conducted per contract and client expectations; maintain TMF and project documentation.
