Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a data management professional to provide comprehensive clinical data and analytical support across the health system. You will ensure reporting compliance with governmental and institutional guidelines while collaborating with clinicians and IT to improve data quality and access.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related clinical or healthcare data management.
1 year equivalent experience in clinical or healthcare data management with no degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with using Microsoft Office Applications.
RN or LVN license upon hire.
Epic experience preferred; data platform knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Acquire proficiency with EMR software and regulatory guidelines.
Extract, validate, and summarize data for reporting and performance improvement.
Provide comprehensive analytical support for clinical performance initiatives.
Maintain timely adherence to regulatory and data deadlines.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and attend stakeholder meetings.
Fulfill department goals and complete projects with guidance.
