Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. offers a Future Talent Program internship program up to 12 weeks in our Global Data Management and Standards division.

You will support process, quality and technology initiatives in clinical data management, working with experienced team members on strategic projects. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program in STEM or similar major.
• Candidates must have completed at least two full years of undergraduate coursework.
• Must be able to work full-time for up to twelve weeks starting in May or June.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• GPA 3.0+ preferred; self-motivated with strong planning and time management.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic and operational projects related to process, quality and technology in clinical data management and standards.
• Assist with special projects, analyze and evaluate data, processes and policies.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across GDMS.
• Work across GDMS areas such as Portfolio & Resource Operations, Project Management, Change Management, Communications, Learning & Development, Metrics/KPIs.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives using Microsoft Office tools.
