Job summary

Accel Research Sites in Decatur, GA is seeking a Data Coordinator (EDC) to ensure accurate entry of patient visit data into EDC and other systems in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, and SOPs.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of clinical data entry experience, strong typing (40+ wpm), and excellent attention to detail. You will collaborate with site staff and management to maintain data quality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of clinical data entry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, email, and web applications; typing 40+ wpm.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with others.
• Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and compliant manner.

Responsibilities

• Enter clinical visit data into EDC and other data systems.
• Review patient charts to ensure data entry aligns with eCRF guidelines and protocols.
• Report irregularities or problems to appropriate parties.
• Support other clinical research-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations, ICF documentation, and GCP/GDP guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients and company information.
