Job summary

Meet Life Sciences Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Clinical Data, Automation & AI Solutions Developer for a 12‑month contract. The role is fully remote and starts at ~20 hours per week, with potential for more hours as needs evolve.

You will build integrations, dashboards, and AI-powered tools to streamline data management across clinical development functions. The ideal candidate brings API and data pipeline experience, Smartsheet/Data Shuttle expertise, and proficiency with Power BI/Tableau, Power

• Experience developing dashboards and reports, including underlying data models.
• Hands-on Smartsheet experience, Data Shuttle, integrations, and workflow automation.
• Experience with Power Automate and Power Query.
• Experience building AI agents or AI-powered workflows, ideally using Microsoft Copilot tools.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and deliver working solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data connections between clinical systems, vendor platforms, and internal reporting tools using APIs and data integrations.
• Develop Smartsheet solutions, including Data Shuttle, automated workflows, alerts, and cross-sheet connections.

• Automate repetitive tasks using Power Automate, Power Query, scripting, and other automation tools.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve data quality, and ensure integrations and reports run reliably.

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a growing biotechnology company looking for a hands‑on technical contractor to improve data management, reporting, and workflow automation across its clinical development organization.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building practical technical solutions, and using data and AI to make everyday work easier. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, experience connecting systems and automating processes, and an interest in applying technology within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

The Opportunity

• You'll work with teams across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, and other development functions to improve how information is collected, shared, and reported.
• This is a hands‑on role focused on building and maintaining solutions rather than managing a team or overseeing projects. You'll develop integrations, create dashboards, automate manual processes, and build AI‑powered tools that help teams work more efficiently.
• The position is fully remote and offered as an initial 12‑month contract, starting at approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as business needs evolve.

What You'll Be Doing

What They're Looking For

Experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, or other regulated environments is a plus. Familiarity with clinical trial systems such as EDC, CTMS, eTMF, IRT, or LIMS would also be beneficial.
