Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Yonkers, NY is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst to collect and submit reliable data to national and state registries. The role supports cardiovascular registries and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.

You will work closely with the Division of Cardiology to ensure accurate data entry for eligible cases and contribute to ongoing clinical quality projects. A Bachelor’s degree and RN/PA license are required.

Qualifications

City/State:Yonkers, New YorkGrant Funded:NoDepartment:NPG - Performance Projects 3Work Shift:DayWork Days:MON-FRIScheduled Hours:8:30 AM-5 PMScheduled Daily Hours:7.5 HOURSPay Range:$105,726.14-$132,157.67Position SummaryThe Clinical Data Analyst primary responsibility is to collect and submit reliable data to the designated data base including National Cardiovascular Data Registry, NY State Department of Health registry, Society for Thoracic Surgeons registry, etc. This is accomplished through high-quality clinical screening, data compilation, documentation and entry into the appropriate database of all eligible cases for the medical center. The Clinical Data Analyst also works closely with the members of the Division of Cardiology to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects as may be identified.RequirementBachelor Degree RequiredPA or RN license and clinical experience involving direct patient careThe individual must have clinical experience involving the direct care of patients as evidenced by an RN, NP or PA degree with prior practical experience. Cardiovascular background preferred.3-5 years of experience working in an administrative setting involving organizational skills, independent decision making and interaction with multidisciplinary team members.Completion of training and through understanding of NCDR, New York Department of Health, and STS TAVR registries.
