Job summary

Qualified candidates will hold a graduate degree and Kentucky licensure as a LPC or LCSW. Prior substance abuse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, group and family counseling and document clinical records (treatment plans, psychosocial assessments, notes, weekly reviews).
• Attend interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and monitor treatment progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation to ensure safety for clients and staff.
• Supervise direct care staff and ensure adherence to WestCare policies.
• Develop and implement an approved counseling curriculum for groups and individuals.
• Co-sign treatment plans with Program Director and report unusual incidents as required.
• Complete documentation for clinical records and reports as assigned.
