Odyssey House in the Bronx is seeking an Outpatient Counselor to provide counseling and case management for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges in our Bronx outpatient program at 822-953 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10459.
You will assess, plan and coordinate care, work with a clinical team, and advocate for a recovery-based lifestyle while delivering services in alignment with regulatory and payer requirements.

The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for providing counseling and case management services related to substance abuse, legal, mental health, medical and vocational/educational issues. The Outpatient Counselor documents all provided services in a manner that is compliant with regulatory and third-party payor requirements. She/he works to coordinate and provide treatment services based on the individualized treatment plan including discharge planning. The Outpatient Counselor advocates for and promotes a recovery-based lifestyle. The Outpatient Counselor works closely with the rest of the staff as an integral part of the clinical team.
