Odyssey House is seeking an Outpatient Counselor for the Bronx Outpatient Program. You will provide counseling, case management, and discharge planning to clients with substance use and co-occurring issues.
Work with a clinical team in a recovery-focused setting, coordinating care, maintaining records, and participating in ongoing training and quality improvement activities. The role requires flexible scheduling and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for providing counseling and case management services related to substance abuse, legal, mental health, medical and vocational/educational issues. The Outpatient Counselor documents all provided services in a manner that is compliant with regulatory and third-party payor requirements. She/he works to coordinate and provide treatment services based on the individualized treatment plan including discharge planning. The Outpatient Counselor advocates for and promotes a recovery-based lifestyle. The Outpatient Counselor works closely with the rest of the staff as an integral part of the clinical team.
