Job Description

Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing care duties for the assigned unit or department. Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care according to our patient care philosophy. Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the nursing process and primary nursing principles, adhering to departmental and hospital policies. Effectively communicate with other shifts for continuity, maintain good relations with other departments, and participate in educational activities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Associate of Science or related field (Required)
  • Required Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and manage stress effectively.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licenses: Valid RN license in Georgia or multi-state/compact license
  • Minimum Work Experience: Six months of RN experience in a direct patient care setting, unless participating in the Nurse Residency Program
