Job summary

TriCities Hospital is hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors nursing care and supports an exceptional patient experience.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist with admissions, and work with leadership to improve outcomes. The role includes coaching, scheduling, and staff development to foster a caring, efficient unit.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Virginia license or multi-state license.
• BSN preferred, acute care experience preferred.
• Certified in ACLS and BCLS within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership and coaching.
• Provide training and feedback to staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
• Current RN Virginia license or has a multistate compact license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
