Job summary

The Arbors of Bedford, part of Benchmark Senior Living, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator/Scheduler to join our team. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday and partners with the Resident Care Director for administrative tasks in the Wellness Department.

Responsibilities include managing documentation in myUnity, maintaining RCA staffing schedules, updating resident records, and coordinating with families and town/state programs. Starting rate is $23 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • State required certifications and completion of Medication Aide Training.
  • Previous scheduling experience preferred.
  • Computer skills required, solid knowledge of MS Office preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Checks ADL books and resident electronic health records for documentation and care completion.
  • Verifies MARs/eMORs and reports omissions to the RCD for follow-up.
  • Develops RCA staffing schedule with the RCD.
  • Supports RCA staff with training and in-service completion.
  • Assembles binder/non-EHR Resident Records for new move-ins and updates face sheets.
  • Enters resident care needs into the Yardi/Resident Summary Template.
  • Ensures RCA assignments are accurate in paper or Yardi and shares with staff.
  • Assists with obtaining Care Plan signatures and orders supplies for the department.
  • Coordinates QA and family meetings with the RCD.
  • Provides documentation for town/state-funded programs as needed.

Full Time Tuesday-Saturday Schedule
Rate: Starting at $23/HR

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will partner with the Resident Care Director (RCD)/ Mind and Memory Director for all administrative tasks for the Wellness Department.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Checks ADL books/resident electronic health record (myUnity) for documentation and completion of care.
  • Checks paper/electronic Medication Administration Records (eMARs) and Medication Observation Records (eMORs) and verifies that medications have been given and treatments completed. Reports any omission to the RCD for follow-up.
  • Develops Resident Care Associate (RCA) staffing schedule in conjunction with the RCD.
  • Responsibility to support and assist RCA staff with training and in-service completion
  • Assembles binder/non-EHR Resident Records for new move ins.
  • Updates resident face sheet information.
  • Enters details of resident care needs into the Yardi/Resident Summary Template (myUnity).
  • Ensures accuracy of RCA Assignments on paper or in Yardi and provides them to staff (if using Yardi/paper system).
  • Assists the RCD with follow-up in obtaining Care Plan signatures.
  • Orders and maintains sufficient supplies for the Resident Care department.
  • Coordinates Quality Assurance and family meetings in conjunction with the RCD.
  • Provides the Receptionist/Concierge with documentation (face sheets, DNRs, medication lists, etc.) for the Resident Emergency binders upon move-in, as required, and when changes occur.
  • Assists with providing information and completing documentation for town/state-funded programs (if applicable).
