Qualifications

Role Overview

The Clinical Coordinator (RN) in Surgery provides direct patient care, supports unit coordination, and ensures high-quality, safe outcomes. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, education, performance evaluations, and resolving issues affecting patient flow and clinical services. The role involves performing quality assurance, monitoring compliance with accreditation standards, and serving as a resource on policies and procedures. Flexibility to work across shifts and units, including on-call as needed, is required.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants must hold a current RN license, with an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing. Minimum of 1-2 years of surgical RN experience, especially in circulation, PreOp, PACU, and Infusion; 2-4 years of critical care preferred. BLS certification is required, ACLS preferred. Handling with Care certification is advantageous. The role demands strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
