Clinical Coordinator - Operating Room

Weekend Shift - Part Time 6:30am - 7pm (2 - 12 hour shifts but can flex to 3 days if needed)

Required 3-5 years OR RN Circulating experience in multiple specialties including Neuro, Ortho, General, Trauma. CNOR preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily OR schedule, staffing requirements, and control desk activities.
• Plan staffing assignments, room assignments, and coordinate daily schedule activity.
• Facilitate staff, patient, surgeon, anesthesia, and case movement to optimize service and patient care.
• Communicate with physicians regarding case status and room availability.
• Serve as the point person for communication with other departments to facilitate daily operations.

Education & Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred; if ADN, willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years and obtain BSN within 5 years.
• 2-3 years of relevant acute care nursing experience required.
• Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse required.
• ACLS preferred.
