Job Details
  • Schedule: 2:45P-11:15P (five 8-hour shifts), full-time, 40 hours. Monday-Friday. No call other than some holiday call rotation required.
  • Department: Operating Room
  • Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC
  • Unit Info: 17 OR rooms, 1:1 patient-nurse ratio, range of procedures.
  • Requirements: Minimum two years of OR experience and charge nurse or comparable experience.

A Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who acts as a role model, facilitator, mentor, and coach for clinical and support staff. They help coordinate work shift activities, assist with quality improvement, personnel utilization, performance appraisals, resource management, and standards of care maintenance.
