Job description

Job Title: Clinical Coordinator

Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join our collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Facilitate departmental functioning under the direction of the Inpatient Director.
  2. Coordinate care for inpatient populations, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and acting as a resource to staff.
  3. Lead staff in daily activities, participate in performance reviews, coaching, and counseling.
  4. Collaborate with the Director to ensure quality care and service delivery, manage resources, and achieve clinical and financial goals.
  5. Participate in staff recruitment, mentoring, and retention efforts.
  6. Perform nursing duties, serve as charge nurse, and conduct rounds to ensure quality patient care and staffing safety.
  7. Assist in policy development, scheduling, staffing, and departmental reporting.
  8. Support customer service initiatives, address operational issues, and promote a positive work environment.
  9. Monitor and evaluate patient care quality, lead improvement teams, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  10. Maintain current knowledge through literature review and promote evidence-based nursing practice.
  11. Collaborate with physicians to improve processes and patient flow.
  12. Respond to emergencies and serve as Administrator On Call as assigned.

  14. Attend mandatory education and maintain licensure and certifications.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
  • Licensed as an RN in Ohio.
  • Complete 24 contact hours of approved CE every 2 years.
  • Maintain BLS certification; attain PALS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Shift and Hours:

1st shift, 80 hours per pay period.
