Tyler Regional Hospital in Tyler, TX, is seeking a day shift, full-time General Surgery Clinical Coordinator RN for the OR. The role directs nursing staff, ensures delivery of high-quality perioperative care, and aligns with hospital mission and budget.

TX RN license required; BLS due within 14 days; ACLS and BSN preferred with 2+ years OR experience. The Clinical Coordinator will collaborate with surgical teams, ensure patient safety, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced operating

Formación

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: BSN.
• At least two years recent OR experience.
• ACLS.

Responsabilidades

• The Clinical Coordinator directs and supervises staff members assigned to the department, supports and interprets the mission of the hospital and promotes harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, ancillary departments, patients and families.
• The Clinical Coordinator provides for the delivery of care to a specific group of patients and evaluates the quality of that care in a systematic fashion, in order to improve care.
• Ensure care is delivered within the framework of hospital philosophy and approved budget, and in concert with other departments and services within and outside of the hospital.
• The Clinical Coordinator must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
