Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno/Clovis CA is seeking a Respiratory Care Manager to lead the department, mentor staff, and optimize clinical operations in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The role requires 3 years of RCP experience in acute care with neonatal transport and Level 3 NICU, CA license, NBRC credential, and BLS/PALS/NRP/RSI certifications; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Responsibilities

Assists the manager with providing leadership to the department, including maximizing personnel abilities and competencies, problem resolution, department orientation and mentoring. Coordinates the activity and workflow of the respiratory care and transport teams. Responsible for the Transport Team operations, training, logistics and safety. Serves as a professional resource person to members of the respiratory care staff and others as requested.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's Degree and completion of an approved Respiratory Care Program required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience

• 3 years Respiratory Care experience in an acute care facility with neonatal transport, level 3 NICU and management experience required
• Meets all unit based qualifications at time of appointment, including Clinic and Hyperbaric qualifications required

Licenses and Certifications

• RCP - State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist w/ NBRC required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification required
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required
• RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation required
