Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Clinical Coordinator for our Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy Program. This is an Online position traveling and visiting clinical sites in Northern California with some teaching duties and Clinical Coordination.

Basic Function

The primary function of the Clinical Coordinator is to manage day to day clinical rotations of the students at the affiliated clinical sites. This is done through management and oversight of students currently or preparing for the clinical rotations, constant communication with clinical sites, program director and outreach department. Clinical Coordinator also is involved in teaching the didactic component of the program. Clinical site acquisition assistance/participation and maintenance is also a key responsibility for this role. Student management also includes involvement to ensure satisfactory academic progress is being maintained and that student marks, attendance, remediation documentation, and other reprimands are all kept up to date

Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct full-time experience in radiation therapy
  • Current licensure in good standing within their discipline – radiation therapy
  • Teaching experience is preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of the educational process at other institutions
  • Preferred management work experience in a school environment
  • Able to travel, as needed to clinic facility sites.
  • Able to initiate, administer, assess, and document clinical education programs.

Hourly Pay Range, Part-time: $55.00-$60.00
