Job Title: Clinical Coordinator Licensed Practical Nurse

Department: MSKR and Neuroscience Shared Services

Location: Penn Medicine Radnor - 145 King of Prussia Rd

Entity: CPUP

Hours: Mon-Fri hours will change based on department needs

Summary:
  • The Clinical Coordinator will oversee daily clinical operations for both MSKR and Neuroscience Shared Services practices and manage 7 FTE. They ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and DOH standards across all locations.
  • They oversee infection control standards, participate in EOC rounding, communicate new processes, assist with coverage plans, and act as a subject matter expert for clinical questions and EHR optimization.
  • The role includes hiring, onboarding, clinical competencies, and evaluations of staff.
  • The typical scope involves managing fewer than 7 staff, handling approximately 15,000 annual visits, and managing practices with multiple locations, complex service lines, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Foster employee satisfaction through effective communication and relationship building.
  • Establish and update work processes, perform clinical duties, and maintain staffing levels.
  • Manage team and individual performance in collaboration with Clinical Manager.
  • Support staff development, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
  • Assist with staffing, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support patient care excellence, safety reviews, and service recovery.
  • Promote proactive communication and problem solving to enhance team performance.
Credentials:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)
  • BCLS certification from AHA (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Graduate of a state-approved Practical Nurse Program (Required)
  • 7+ years of total work experience (Required)
  • 3+ years of practical nursing experience (Required)
