Position Summary

Columbia Irving Medical Center's Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Clinical Coordinator II - Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for new head and neck cancer patients, offering them personalized care coordination and facilitating follow-up care.
- Play an integral role in reconstructive surgeries, especially those related to head and neck cancer, facial paralysis, and skin cancer.
- Involve in cutting-edge treatments, including medical and cosmetic laser applications.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including oncology, neurosurgery, dermatology, and occupational therapy.
- Receive hands-on training in complex head and neck cancer care and advanced reconstruction surgery.
- Mentorship from experienced surgeons in head and neck surgical oncology and reconstructive surgery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited or NYS-approved PA program.
- Board Certification.
- NY State Physician Assistant License.
- Current (or eligible) NY State DEA license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification (if applicable).
- At least 4 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cosmetic practice or oncology is beneficial but not required. Candidates with empathy, organizational skills, and a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply.
- Ideal for PAs seeking to build expertise in reconstructive surgery and oncology.
- ACLS, PALS certification (if applicable).

- Excellent clinical skills in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, maintaining patient confidentiality.
