Job Details

The duties of the Clinical Coordinator focus on maintaining a pleasant and efficient office environment for patients, staff, and physicians. This includes coordinating daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient handling of all issues.

Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday, Day shift, 40 hours per week

Job Description
Essential Functions:
  1. Evaluate utilization of clinical office time for physicians and work closely with the Operations Manager to make necessary adjustments.
  2. Manage inventory and payments for all retail products (in-house store and e-commerce platform).
  3. Coordinate customer scheduling, including MRI-PET scan imaging check-in/check-out, appointments, testing, and procedures.
  4. Coordinate referrals and insurance requirements by obtaining and confirming patient information to maximize benefits, ensuring compliance with local payer coverage determinations.
  5. Maintain knowledge of all scheduling processes to ensure accurate referrals, appointments, and outpatient service/exam scheduling.
  6. Communicate consistently with the center city office and provide coverage as needed.
  7. Collaborate with administrative staff to maintain professional working relationships.
  8. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and expand services.
  9. Review and approve office supply orders.
  10. Coordinate daily clinical office activities.
  11. Cover front desk tasks, including patient appointments, test scheduling, and supplement sales.
  12. Attend and complete EMR (Electronic Medical Record) training and stay proficient in its use.
  13. Utilize and stay current with the tasking functions of the EMR.
  14. Use and become proficient with the e-commerce Shopify platform for supplement orders, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  15. Submit service requests for phones, faxes, computers, printers, and scanners.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational/Training Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office setting.
