Job Details

The Clinical Coordinator, sonography, full-time 12-month position will contribute through teaching, scholarship, and professional development of students.

Primary Duties Include
  1. Prepare instructional materials and evaluation instruments for teaching and clinical assignments.
  2. Assist in curriculum design, development, revision, and implementation.
  3. Direct lectures and laboratory/clinical sessions in the performance aspects of sonography theory.
  4. Observe, evaluate, and record student performance; provide supplemental training as needed.
  5. Collaborate with the Sonography Program Director and clinical educators on student clinical evaluations and content.
  6. Stay current with developments in sonography and education through continuing education activities.
  7. Participate in the professional development of students via advisement, evaluation, and supervision of research.
  8. Contribute to departmental, college, and university administration, including committee participation and attending events.
  9. Engage in professional organizations and assume leadership roles at various levels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; enrollment in a Master’s program if not already obtained a Master’s Degree or plans to enroll upon hire.
  • Experience in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, advising, counseling, and JRC accreditation process.
  • Valid ARRT/ARDMS/CCI certification in sonography (abdomen, OB, vascular, and optionally cardiac).
  • Minimum two years of professional clinical experience; at least one year as an instructor in a JRC-accredited program.
