Mercy in Rogers, AR is seeking an experienced RN or Radiology Tech to support the Electrophysiology (EP) program. You will coordinate scheduling and follow-up, assist with EP procedures, and collaborate with the Department Director to ensure smooth workflow.
The role requires 2 years Cath Lab/EP experience, cardiology care background, and certification (RCES and/or RCVT/RCIS). Excellent communication and training skills are essential, with readiness to float as needed.
Under the guidance of the director and with limited supervision and broad general direction, performs duties within the EP Program. This includes clinic and hospital duties as it relates to navigating patients through scheduling and follow-up of EP procedures.
This co-worker will collaborate with the Department Director to fully oversee and coordinate all aspects of the EP program and job duties will include but are not limited to:
Coordinates procedures with all required and supporting medical device representatives. Performs and assists in all electrophysiology procedures utilizing recording and pacing systems, as well as advanced 3D mapping. Maintains billing compliance within the department. Responsible for department workflow and completion of ordered procedures as it relates to the EP Program. Trains and educates new and current employees in Electrophysiology Program.
Schedules procedures, maintains inventory and participates in the ordering and maintenance of lab equipment.
Reports and acts on quality initiatives, follows compliance to departmental policies and procedures. Follows established standards and practices under the direction of an Electrophysiologist.
Will float to or other areas as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate degree RN or Radiology Technologist
Experience: 2 years Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Experience
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
