Job summary

Trinity Youth Services in California is seeking a qualified Clinical Coordinator to join our Residential Team, overseeing the treatment program for youth and their families. The role includes intake and discharge oversight, and ongoing treatment coordination with therapists.

You will supervise therapists, review quarterly reports, and ensure quality documentation and compliance with state requirements. A Master’s degree and a California license (LMFT/LCSW) are required.

Qualifications

• Current clinical license as LMFT or LCSW with supervision hours.
• Experience with residential treatment or county contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently looking for a qualified Clinical Coordinator to join our Residential Team, supporting a maximum population of 16 youth. The Clinical Coordinator shall be responsible for the overall quality of the Treatment Programs and have overall responsibility for, and be involved in, the intake, discharge and on-going treatment of the children and their families. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the caseloads of the Therapists and ensure that the clinical treatment interventions are appropriate and adequate.
• Review all quarterly reports, needs and service plans, to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Review children’s records, monitor and evaluate assessment and treatment decisions of the Associate Therapists.
• Provide emergency counseling supervision to Associate Therapists during crisis situations.
• Coordinate the Specialized Therapy groups, facilitate as required, and ensure the timely and consistent documentation of the groups.
• Monitor independent contractors providing psychiatric, therapy, or other services to ensure compliance with the contract terms; approve contractor invoices.

Skills/Requirements:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required. Must hold a current clinical license as an LMFT or LCSW and possess the experience and credentials necessary to provide state-required clinical supervision hours to Associate Therapists.
• Preferred qualifications include experience working under contract with a county mental health department and providing treatment in a residential facility or program similar to Trinity.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity’s insurance carrier.
• Must adhere to the general requirements established in the California Administrative Code, Title 22.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely and produce quality documentation both orally and in writing.

Base Salary:$78,000
