Job summary

Think Aksarben LLP is seeking aClinical Coder to ensure accurate and timely patient record coding. You will serve as educator, SME, and liaison on coding matters, investigating issues and leading process improvements to minimize denials and improve the patient experience.

The role requires knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT, EHR systems, and strong communication with physicians and billing staff. An Associate degree in Medical Coding and CPC certification are preferred, with CRC and coding audit

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Medical Coding or equivalent experience required.
• Certified Procedure Coder CPC through AAPC.
• CRC and/or coding audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code patient records accurately and timely.
• Review charge submissions for accuracy and apply modifiers.
• Scrub claims and prepare for insurance submission.
• Communicate with providers for documentation clarification.
• Educate staff on coding changes and regulations.
• Resolve payer denials and advise reprocessing.
• Improve patient experience through responsive service.
