Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide skilled nursing care and administrative support within the AU Ryan White Program. You will perform patient triage, assist with exams, prepare vaccines, enter notes into the EMR, and coordinate referrals with the care team.

This full-time, dayshift role partners with physicians, nurses, and clinical case managers to monitor patient needs, ensure HAB measures are met, and support quality care across clinic sites in Augusta, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of admin/clinical support in outpatient setting.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for routine HIV-related primary care within the AU Ryan White Program.
• Identify, monitor, and coordinate service needs with Infectious Disease and other providers.
